CREATIVE DESIGN PROCESS - DECODED !!

Hi Friends !!

It has been a long break since my last post but all the while I had been working closely with some NGO's and Educational Organizations, to train the Creative Mind about the Understanding of Design and its Versatile Application.

During this course of Time, I have tried to develop Educational aids for Students which has been a great success. This has inspired me to put up one of my presentations on this blog, so that this can reach out to millions of young Students who love Design and aspire to understand the Design Process.

Will be awaiting eagerly for your comments and feedback so that I can post some more Educational aids for Students.

Click here to download the complete presentation.

I duly acknowledge the copyright of the images and other references that have been used in this Educational Presentation.

Hi ! We thought it would be nice if we could start posting some of the new Print Patterns that we are currently working upon. At present we are designing a summer story inspired from the various organic elements like small leaves, dried lillies, bryophytes, yeasts etc.

We are hoping it should come out to be something interesting. The first pattern that we are posting is a hand painted pattern of scattered dry lillies. We would be very happy if you leave a comment for us ! Keep visiting !

Shopping in Delhi :: Part I - By N. P. Design Studio

A first time visitor to New Delhi interested in hunting around for some interesting fabrics be it either printed or woven, can find himself in big confusion, for he is already short of time and there are far too many stores that he will have to explore before he finds what he needs.

So we thought that it will be a good idea to put up in my blog the filtrate of our years of fabric hunting through the stores and bazaars of New Delhi. Hence here is our first post from this series that we will gradually keep posting as well as updating with time. In this post we are providing details about the shops that are at least worth a visit.

To help you further narrow down the list as per your requirements and time constraints we are also providing a brief review about each store as well as rating them on a scale of 1 to 5. For rating the shops we have taken into account the following factors –
- Amiableness and cooperativeness of the staff & management.
- Freshness & trendiness of the fabrics / designs.
- Variety in designs.
- Well planned space for easy movement & selection.
- Proper categorization in display ( color / theme / quality etc. ).

Doodie Poodie Picnic Mat :: By N. P. Design Studio

Doodie Poodie Picnic Mat :: Trendy and Fresh
Well we are back! This time with a set of two picnic mats. Today we will be presenting the first one of these two picnic mats.  We have named it as the Doodie-Poodie Picnic Mat ( Oh ! Come on ! Don’t laugh at the name. Its simply because the mat folds up into a cute looking Bag!).

Description:

We have used a stripe printed fabric in combination with solid dyed fabrics in the form of tiles. You can also see the box quilting on the mat – this provides a third dimension to the otherwise flat surface of the mat as well as binding all the layers of fabric and foam together.
At one corner of the mat there are tassels which can be used to tie up the mat and carry it like a shoulder bag while traveling.

Uses:
-         Travel Mat
-         Picnic Mat
-         Yoga Mat

Hope you love it! And in case you are wondering how to order it, please visit http://www.nehaprabhakar.com/ for further details.
